Our team of Psychologists and Psychotherapists utilize cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to address problems and elevate mood levels by modifying dysfunctional emotions, behaviors, and thoughts. MEET THE THERAPY TEAM:

Veronica's counselling approach is to provide a secured, comfortable, empathic, understanding and confidential environment for clients to express their personal issues. She uses eclectic counselling models such as family systems therapy, brief solution focused therapy, cognitive behavior therapy, narrative therapy, art therapy, emotional focused therapy etc., to counsel clients.

 

Veronica is a registered psychotherapist, a registered marriage and family therapist, a registered cancer patient therapist, a clinical traumatologist, and a compassion fatigue specialist. She offers counselling services to adults, youths and children from diverse socio-economic, psychosocial and different cultural background since 1993.

 

Veronica's life experiences have a deep intercultural sensitivity. She speaks English, Cantonese and Mandarin, and enjoys counselling individuals, couples or families from different cultures.

Dayana Romero provides counseling via the Ontario Telehealth Network (secure network over the internet) in the clinic or in the comfort of your own home.

 

Dayana Romero is a Registered Psychotherapist in the province of Ontario with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. She is a member of the Ontario Psychological Association, and the Canadian Psychological Association. She received her bachelor's degree in Counseling from Canada Christian College in 2005. She has a Masters of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Yorkville University from 2010 and a Masters of Arts in Forensic Psychology from the University Liverpool.

 

Dayana’s areas of specialization is addictions, PTSD, trauma, depression and anxiety. She provides couples and marriage counseling as well as self actualization, positive psychology and life coaching. She is approved by the government to provide therapy for First Nations & Inuit population (NIHB & IRS RHSP).

 

She has training in PTSD and addictions and uses different forms of therapy in order to meet the patients’ needs, but her main base is Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy and Solution Focus Therapy. She speaks both English and Spanish and provides services in both languages.
